Tv Lab is the result of exposure to many forms of mass media throughout the decades. With a vast array of influences you never know just what Tv Lab will do next. Tv Lab consists of Producer/Audio Engineer/Musician Bryan Beno, Electronic Musician Alex Dunbar, Guitar player Nick Cosentino, and various MCs. Tv Lab has strong roots in ElectroAcoustic, Hip Hop, and Experimental styles. We try to provide fun, musical creativity, education, and inspiration to all individuals. We think that everyone can enjoy at least some if not all aspects of Tv Lab.
Why this name?
Tv Lab has existed in essence for many years now, only during the early Winter of 2007 did they actually form as one. Tv Lab was inspired by a media program at Wooster High School which they were all a part of in some way.
Do you play live?
We have not yet expanded our music to a live show, though plans are in the works.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The Mp3 makes is possible for anyone to create music specially tailored to their own likeness and style. Tv Lab believes the Mp3 is an awesome way to make music readily available and to help rid the environment of wasteful musical byproduct such as cds and other musical mediums.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Only if the creativity of Tv Lab, which is its backbone, was not stifled to sell records.
