I am finally getting on my feet. Got a studio @ home & @ the boyfriends. Got two more at school. One of them is a 3 million dollar one.. so I'm good.
Currently networking myself across the entire spectrum of the Chicago Underground.
"My band" is not a band, I AM the band. I travel across the audio spectrum in large and small doses. My voice will not be held back. & when I'm ready to discover a new style, I do it.
Currently, my own style seems to be unsure of itself. It wants a little bit of electro, but then it makes beautiful music over acoustic guitars.. but then it destroys a hip-hop beat? I cannot stop my voice from wanting to do it all.
And I love it for this quality. My voice is powerful and full of soul. But most important of all, when I say something, I really have a thing or two to say.
And another quality about me..
MY LYRICS have MEANING! I write everything from the tune to the lyrics when I collabo with someone or when I make my own stuff. Everything I write and create comes from the soul & the heart.

Why this name?
I am a Rose. Beautiful to look at, and luring to your senses. But if you handle me the wrong way, my thorns will leave you regretting your new loss ; )
Do you play live?
I am just beginning to perform live, beginning at smaller venues.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Of course. But I've already had this discussion too many times in my business of the music industry class.. ha
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It depends on the contract
Your influences?
I am influenced by every beat and every note that has ever been through my ears. I don't want to be an artist that you can "expect" to hear a certain style from, I want to put my voice to the ultimate test and use all types of styles, beats, and genres.

MXL Microphone, Pre-Amp, Pro-tools. @ home . . . any other equipment I can get my hands on at my school.
