Born and raised in the Deep South, and the son of a preacher, music has always been in my life. I studied composition, guitar performnace, and music production at colleges in Louisiana, Texas, and Tennessee. Since then I've played guitar professionally for nearly 20 years - in Nashville and for the Air Force. I am currently guitarist in the USAF Academy Band in Colorado Springs, where my family and I have put down roots.

My most recent release, Reaching Through the Veil, is a modern interpretation of more than a dozen old hymns. Though this is not something new, I believe the musical style is original. Think along the lines of Pat Metheny, Mike Oldfield, Phil Keaggy. It could be classified sometimes as Lite Jazz, sometimes New Age, sometime Instrumental Pop, and even ambient or chill-out. Whatever you like to call it, I hope you enjoy listening to it, and will tell your friends, too.
Do you play live?
Yes. I am a guitarist in the US Air Force Academy Band. We travel all over the country playing for a wide variety of audiences. It is a great gig.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has put power in the hands of anyone and everyone. On the down side - it has created an overwhelming number of independent artists. So it's challenging to get your name to rise above the rest.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the terms were acceptable, yes.
Your influences?
I am greatly influenced by Pat Metheny, Mike Oldfield, the Finn Brothers, Claude Debussy, and the Beatles, just to name a significant few.
