SoundClick artist: The Frost Heaves - harder, louder, heavier, faster

Frost heaving (or frost heave) occurs when soil expands and contracts due to freezing and thawing. This process can damage plant roots through breaking or desiccation, cause cracks in pavement, and damage the foundations of buildings, even below the frost line. Moist, fine-grained soil at certain temperatures is most susceptible to frost heaving.

Do you play live?

We play in the basement. We do not like it, Sam I am. We wish to take our music to the people. All moments are special for the Frost Heaves.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

It makes us possible to take a small part of The Frost Heaves experience to the people while we remain in the basement.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

We intend to become the biggest band in the world. Signing with a major label is still part of that program.

Inspired by Guitar Hero III, we decided to make some of this great music ourselves. One thing led to another.
