description
This is an animation I created for my Multimedia project last year to promote my mock 'album,' there's other animations I may put up later. The slogan 'We Want All Your Records' was a song I made, containing a sample with that phrase.

I'm a solo artist in the field of electronic music. I never stick to a particular genre as my music tastes are always changing, which dictates the direction of my own work. Overall though, my styles tend to revolve around Ambient, Downtempo, Breaks and Experimental. I've been using music software since I was a lad and continue to this day. I'm currently studying a Degree in Composition at University. I've had airplay on PBS radio in Australia and have had my own compositions performed live in Melbourne.
I currently have my first album up for sale which can be purchased here: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/biko
Some of my stuff isn't for everyone, but keep an open mind and , god forbid, you might actually like it.

Why this name?
Taken from the A Tribe Called Quest song, 'Steve Biko(Stir It Up). No particular reason, just sounds good, plus it's a good song.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
CD's won't die, at least not straight away, I hope not. I like having hard copies.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Perhaps
Band History:
Not much history, always loved music, always been good at it. It's my most common activity to make music.
Your influences?
Alternative/Post Rock (Talk Talk, Joy Division, Blur, Radiohead, Mogwai, Flaming Lips, Primal Scream, Pixies, My Bloody Valentine, too many to name) and Electronic music (A Tribe Called Quest, Massive Attack, Dizzee Rascal, Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, Daft Punk, Future Sound of London, Orbital, The Avalanches, DJ Shadow and Basement Jaxx). There's tons more but can't be bothered, so yeah, I'm a whore when it comes to music, just how I like it. So what can you expect from me? Everything.
Favorite spot?
My house
Equipment used:
Software, Reason v4.0. I one day hope to incorporate live instruments into my recordings, but for now it's purely software. Used to use Fl Studio 5.
