How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
"The internet has changed the music industry in probably more ways to mention. For one, I'm not signed but you are reading this. Even without a label I still have a format to make my music open to others. Through myspace I've been able to meet and collaborate with a number of artist or just simply be introduced to music that I like without radio."
"I do think it's a shame that we've lost our love to actually own the product. I remember combing through the cd packaging and reading every lyric of some of my favorite artists or looking through my parents record collection and finding posters that came with the album. In a world in which everything is instantly available I do feel that maybe we've our love for the product, the proud sense of supporting an artist and going out to the record store and picking up their CD. Having a wall full of CDs certainly feels different than having a hard drive full of music. Sure it's easy but we have lost that special sense of value."
