Having fun with my Lap Steel and 3 String LoWatt Cigar Box. I added some SX Jazz Bass and stirred :) 364 indicates 3 string CB, 6 string Lap and 4 string Bass
Not really, but mixed to sound that way. The drum track is a live recording. Everything else is a DI into a BR600. Yam bass, '51 and SX P-90 Tele bridge on solo. Mixed for Headphones/Ipod
Been a long time. Did this with my 56 Gretsch Lap Steel, LP and 56 Dano and Yamaha Bass. Recorded and mastered on my BR600. Hope you enjoy :)
This is a funeral dirge I composed for my wonderful dog, Gypsy (1999-2010) Grieving her for this past year has been difficult at best. I composed this as a way to deal with her loss. The song title is Gaelic for Goodbye Dear Gypsy.
Experimenting with my Cigar Box, Gretsch and SX Jazz Bass. First time I have used a bottleneck slide....fun stuff :) I'm thinking this works better with head-phones. A #1 song in Indie
My new Recording King Lap steel. I added some G&L Legacy and Jazz Bass to complete the mix. I have no idea how it sounds on speakers yet, my monitors are still in storage. Lap guitars....very fun insturments.
Way out of my norm, but I enjoy experimenting. Used my new DAW, some loops, sound fx and my Strat and SXJB. Todays unrest, worldwide, reminds me much of the 60's, an era I grew up in.
This is my first Cigar Box 3 string. It is a Phil Brittain model. This guy has made thousands working with kids with special needs. I picked it up at a charity art festival and I am just learning how to play it. Its a gas!
Done with my new 3 stringer, built by a good friend Dan (Omega Dog). I borrowed the song title name from a forum buddy because it kinda describes how I see surf, hip hop beats and blues as perfect strangers. Guitar was done on my G&L. Hope you enjoy
A quick noodle played over the bass and drum tracks I did for "Surfing in the Hamptons". Used my G&L Strat and CV Tele.
Memory lane...garage band surf music you might hear in any neighborhood back in the 60's, on a Saturday afternoon. I used my Dano U-2 RI and Line 6 POD Farms Silvertone 1484 modeling patch, along with verb and trem :) #1 on the Surf Rock chart.
This pic of a dog inspired me. I used my GFS Travel guitar, PRS SEone and SXJB.
A quick little boogie number I did with my Legacy and CV Tele, with new Texas Special pick ups. I like the way these guitars sound together :)
A surf ditty using my G&L Strat. The name of the song refers to the effects patch on POD Farm 2.
A CV Tele noodle I did awhile back. Actually I found this in a folder of stuff I had forgot about.
Did this with a slightly modded Squire Classic Vibe Tele, SX Jazz Bass, Organ synth and some "scratch:) Re Mixed Version
This started as a sample track of my GFS Travel Guitar. I added Bass, G&L, Tele and stirred. :)
I did this with my BR600 recording my Epi 59 RI Tribute LP through my Vibro Champ using the condenser mics on the BR. I DI'd the bass (my SXJB) and built the drum track and organ synth on my DAW. I am fixated on T-Bone Walker and his influence.
Taking my Squire 51 out for a walk :)
This ones for my buddy Big Big Dave at AGF and the Hemi I know he has in his Boston Whaler. LP, Strat and CV Tele...SX Bass. #1 Surf Rock :)
Gretsch 5120 and CV Tele Sx Jazz Bass mixed on BR600 Mastered on Audacity. Just working different themes and track ideas.
Layered noodle with a surf vibe. I used my Dano, Epi LP, CV Tele and SXJB bass. A #1 Surf Rock track.
Did this with my Epi LP100, Danelectro u2 and SX JB. Drum track off Mixcraft :)
13 tracks. 5 Guitar (3 G&L 2 PRS) 4 Drum and Percussion Tracks, 4 Bass Tracks (SXJB and MC) 1 is doubled , 2 are for pop. Thanks Mr James Wilsey for the Rattler patches.
Nonsense on a Sunday. Combining synth, loops and a G&L Strat and Yamaha Bass for a silly surf rendition :) #1 Surf Rock
