Effigy has been around for some time.We formed in 92.We just wanted to play brutal deathmetal we started work on Tortured souls are debut release 5 songs of crushing deathmetal on Rotting pus Records.We took a break from Effigy for a few years and in late 94 we got back together to do a new cd.By march of 95 the second cd was recorded Hail to thy Dark Lord a full length cd all so on Rotting Pus Records.To very good reviews.We once again took time off to countinue workin with are individual bands that we where in at the time.As before we would take about 2 years to find the time to record new material.We got in the studio in Dec.97 to start recording are new cd Realm of the Dead.Are second full length for Rotting Pus Records.By Feb.98 we had finished it 10 songs of intense,brutal deathmetal.In late 99 we started work on an 5 song ep 3 songs got recorded the other 2 songs are unfinished.We have talked about getting together to finish the ep.But have not done so yet.
