I was born in Houston, Texas. I was in the midwest until I was 15yrs old. Started banging when I was 13yrs old-acting a fool, straight wylin out. I was named Killah on tha streetz--you can guess why. At 15yrs old I came to Phx, AZ...continued tha game & got real deep in tha ish. I kept tha name Killah and was known on tha Westside. I alwayz been able to write & I just put my experiences & daily struggles in rhyme. Started rappin in 2006. I songwrite & ghost write, but I felt that my words would come best from me--so here I am. I took tha Rap Name as HurriKane Killah.......HurriKane because I'm gonna sweep over my enemies like a tropical storm ya herr me. More than that--a hurricane searches for a low pressure point, a weak spot in the atmosphere, thats where they form and go in; I've found a weak spot in the game, so I was formed & moving forward. Another fact about hurricanes is they form & get their power from tropical depressions in thr climate. My power comes from the depression that is within myself & others. I gain great strength from the realism & pain. One thing we must remember is when pain & tragedy strike we can either fall & stay down or we can pull ourselves together, stand back up & fight back. Keep fighting & keep moving forward no matter what the obstacle or how hard the challenge. We must survive & protect the ones we love!
