i've only played live a few times. i get really nervous when i sing. i'm okay with playing tho. playing live is the greatest thing ever. nothing compares.

it helps bands who dont have the money and support yet get out there and get noticed. i know that i myself listen to alot of "unheard of" bands that i've found on the internet. and its an amazing thing.

i dont know if i want to go that far. i mean its a dream and everything to make a living with music, but i wouldnt want it to consume me. it seems like alot of bands that go all the way become arrogant and such. and i dont want to be that way.

my parents bought me an electric guitar for my 8th grade grad. gift. and i had an acoustic before that. i've been playing for about 5 years now. and four years ago i started writing my own stuf. i kinda just wrote when i got super inspired, which didnt happen often, so i only had three songs in three years. but recently i've just been writing whatever comes to mind and i've written three more in the past 6 months. i dont know if i want to expand and have a full band backing me up, or if i want to stay as just myself. i can play drums and bass so i dont NEED a band for like backup on tracks and such. but ya. we'll see how it plays out. mayb some day i will.

i listen to alot of harcore/ screamo/ rock/ punk/ emo stuf but i dont really write that style. well i guess a little emo. i'd hafta say that my older songs were influenced by green day, but my newer stuf is influenced by Backseat Goodbye (http://www.purevolume.com/backseatgoodbye) he's an amazing singer. check em out. if u like my stuf, u'll love his.

my acoustic is broken (neck snapped). so i play my electric clean. its a knockoff brand and so is my amp but hey, they work. i plan to get a new Ibanez AEL10E acoustic/electric soon. those are absolutely amazing!
