Dark Muse is a one woman dream project offering sounds in haunting lush Ethereal Alchemy, minimal, improvised experimental, darkwave & dark ambient noise flow, coming to a dream near you...
Mostly I refer to it as somber tidings & the soundtrack to my haunted life...
I have been creating sounds with voice, all my life & approach vocals in sound with pure emotion & raw power of experimentation ... While using my voice as an instrument, I am able to manifest textures & layers of patterns with depth.
My true passion is music... I am here to be a vessel for sound to flow.

Why this name?
Dark... obviously referring to other facets of life... contrast... light & dark... black/white... shadows & textures.
Muse...because my muse speaks through me as I vocalize her sounds.... inspirations, lust, creativity, passion...

Do you play live?
Live improvised shows ... as I am able. Would love to perform all the time... life at the moment dictates otherwise.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Evilution... good/bad/ugly/experience it.... deal with it.... enjoy!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
never quite thought of that prospect... considering my sounds are from the soul & experienced in the moment... & long journeys... don't see how that could appeal to suits...

Loop should be my middle name (Dark Loop Muse)... ok, maybe not.
Line 6 Delay Modelers (Loopers) 2 of them, Line 6 Distortion Modeler & Modulation Modeler (new to the mix), Loop Station (by Boss) ... So 3 loopers total. Guitar, Bowed Cymbal, Bells, whistles, found objects, metal, plastic, Mic of course... Cubase, SonicWerx (sp?), Keyboard/synth rare but sometimes, Cheap Drum Machine (rare but sometimes), Live Hand Drums... Gongs, electrical toys... anything that emits tone that can be sampled & looped.... Alesis Nanoverb for effects.
