Welcome to Starmada Entertainment. I can see your looking for some fresh, new Hip hop to listen to, and we will deliver. We are not looking to sound like this radio garbage we're so over listening to. We do our thing, We're fresh. Some of you will dig the hell out of us, the consumer whores might not. It's all good either way. But when we get that head nodding, and you play us back to catch a line, you'll understand what were doing here, you'll understand the Starmada.

A mix of Hip hop, strait up rap, catchy and funny word play with fresh sounds.

Why this name?
My stage name is sirrah, Which is the brightest star on Orions belt. My last name is harris, which is sirrah backwards. I wanted to do something that payed homage to Tino's and my influences and heros. Long story short, I've always liked what chamillionaire did with chamillitary, and I've always liked how Pharrell had Startrak. In short, Its a name that represents us and at the same time pays homage. Its got a bunch of different meanings.
Do you play live?
We haven't had any shows yet. But there are alot of times where we will sit in the parking lot and let virgin ears hear our music, to see what they think.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gives us people who don't have famous uncles or rich parents an opportunity to get discovered or at least heard. I think its great that we can actually have the opportunity to bring our music to the whole world through the internet. It's great.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It depends really. On what kind of contract they offered. I don't like how alot of the music on the radio sounds, and I might be quicker to wipe my entire collection of music before I let the mass market mutilate it.
Band History:
Not too much history, just started with two guys discussing music on night shift once. Convorsation went,
"Yeah, I used to write all the time"
"Me too, I still make beats some times.."
"Word? We need to put something together, can you record?"

The rest is history.
Your influences?
Chamillionaire,Pharrell,Fabolous (before he went waay to mainstream for my taste, street dreams was probably my fav).
Tino is from houston, I'm from cincinnati. We mix we'll tino has that dirty south rhyme style, while Im much faster paced from my northern influence. But even over my fast beats, tino always manages to flame it out with 100% Texas flame. We even do Chopped and screwed versions of our songs, mainly screwed.
Favorite spot?
Phoenix is nice, but aint no place like the nati. But the few times I've been to cali I really dig the scene.
Equipment used:
Fruityloops Producer edition 7, and a M-Audio Mic with cool edit pro 2.0. I just recently got a midi keyboard controller but havent used it to make any beats yet.
Anything else...?
I hope you enjoy our style, I'm down with criticism, all I ask is that you don't try to compare me with anything on the radio. Judge it as its own different beast.
