12 string instrumental acoustic funk. I'm really just screwing around.
Why this name?
Sounds better than "Henceforth Trustworthy Higgenbottham."
Do you play live?
I've done open mikes. Tired of following guys who are mainly hoping to get laid.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Made 'em meaner, I guess.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
With or without a gun to my head?
Band History:
Basically, I started playing guitar as a teenager, was in a couple of bands, and a few years ago decided I liked playing what I call "chord compositions" more than I liked singing songs. So that's what I do now. I own nine guitars!!!
Your influences?
My rhythm guitar influences, chiefly, have been Leo Kottke, Pete Townshend, John Lennon, and David Bowie, but I've also been influenced by coutless rock and jazz artists. Not that you'd know by listening to my stuff.
Favorite spot?
Washington Square Park, NYC.
Equipment used:
Korean guitars and D'addario strings. Boom. Like dat.
Anything else...?
I have a strange fascination with aluminum foil.
