Born to a fisherman's daughter in Bath, Maine, I grew up with folk rock all around- but never participated as a child. After Maine proved to be a stalemate for us, my parents,my two brothers and I moved to sunny Florida to start all over again. It was here that I began to develop a true sense of music, using it as an escape of sorts.
After years of musical immersion I realized that I may be able to emote my views on life and its ups and downs best with an instrument. So, at the ripe age of 20, I picked up a guitar and just started playing; and soon after, singing. After a few months of frustration, I wrote my first song, and from then on I never looked back.
Now, at the age of 24, I feel my music has matured enough to share with the world. My music is entirely recorded at my home with low budget gear; but I have enough to keep me happy.
So here I am. And there you are.

Why this name?
It was given to me.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet allows niche artists to be heard, something that through the 70's, 80's, and 90's had become frowned upon by major labels. Their addiction to selling plastic discs demanded that an artist who could only aggregate an audience of 100,000 was a failure. With the advent of technology and the internet however, people around the world have a new delivery method, and therefore more options. I think the internet + music= good times for both consumer and musician.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
That would depend on the type of contract and accompanying stipulations.
Band History:
My history is still being written, so it's a little unfair to write it prematurely.
Favorite spot?
Siesta Gazebo or Turtle Beach.
Equipment used:
Just me and my guitar. And a bunch of software when I'm in the studio.
