Why this name?
We chose our name because while we're grinding hard now, we're gonna be new money later.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Lessened the value of major label push . . . people are gonna hear your music regardless (if it's good). It also made it easier for people to put out their own stuff, for better or worse.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes. Only if it was the right deal though, we're too talented and too smart to get taken advantage of. We're good right now.
Your influences?
Anything from the 60s-70s as far as soul, rnb, and rock is concerned. Jazz from way back. Producers specifically: Mannie Fresh, Timbo, Premo, The Neptunes, Alchemist, JR, The Runners, and Toomp. Also, all the cats who have helped the game progress to this point.
Favorite spot?
Durham
Equipment used:
Roland XP-30, Juno G, Reason, Pro Tools, Fruity Loops
