Crayzee Hyphy
Just me...tryin' to make some beats for our up and coming cartoon "Spliff Daddy", (be on the lookout myspace.com/frickinhilariousshow) and make some beats for anyone who wants to use them. Also, looking for people to rap, sing, act both for the show and the beats.
Why this name?
I have had the name Crayzee for over 18 years because I am Crayzee Ass Chris. It only seemed fitting that I use it for my artist name.
Do you play live?
I do not play live. I only compose beats for a few really talented individuals.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think that it gives everyone a chance to be expressed without "labels" dictating what you can and can't write and/or play like the artists of old or what they think is "hot".
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe. Depends. Not on money but, it would depend on the amount of freedom I was allowed.
Your influences?
My wifey, Gorillaz, Dre, Jomo 'n Keys, Regg, Skinny Puppy, Trent Reznor, DJ Pooh, Ed Banks, and too many others to name.
Favorite spot?
The 253.
