The Doomsayrz is an ever-growing, ever-changing, musical, social, and SPIRITUAL experiment. Can a group of Lost Souls from nowhere find personal growth and touch the world with only their hard work, music and philosophy? Can we get back to the garden? Is LOVE all we need? Do you want to be a Doomsayr? If the world ended tomorrow, would GOD remember you and all your works? Are you a tree that bears good fruit? Contact the Doomsayrz at doomeoom@yahoo.com... Blessed Be!
Why this name?
In dayz of old, Doomsayers walk walk around yelling "REPENT! The end is near"! We don't know if it is near, but it is coming, and when it comes, we want to be the faithfull, vigilent watchers at the gate. We beleive in the power of music, the power of LOVE, and the ALLPOWER of the MOST HIGH.
Do you play live?
Rev Doom plays solo shows and is often accompanied by a varying line-up of other Doomsayrz, primarily Rebecca "Bb" Jackson. We love it and we will play anywhere, anytime! for bookings, e-mail us at doomeom@yahoo.com
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It and the ALLMIGHTY make what we do possible. Never before could we reach such an audience. At this time on of our players has over 275,000 plays!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If we could retain FULL creative control, sure, and if the Label understood our SPIRITUAL message.
Your influences?
Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, the Grateful Dead, the Rolling Stones, the Who, the Beatles, Yes, Rush, Jethro Tull, Meatloaf, Jim Steinman, Rick Wakeman, the book of Job, and the Sermon on the Mount
