Band History:
His musical background spans influences from all genres of music from Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Latin Rock to Joe Satriani. With each new piece he writes, Gil feels a story is essential to the writing process...

During his musical journey Gil has performed with a variety of cover bands in Upstate New York and Puerto Rico. Currently he has migrated to doing the open mic circuit along the New Jersey Shore. This very diverse area has presented itself with a wide spectrum of musical styles from Rock, Blues, Funk, Jazz and just Advante Garde. Upon starting the open mic circuit in 2005, Gil was faced with a decision as any artist to decide where to focus his energies.
He felt that original music is what would provide him with the satisfaction as a musician to have at least made a mark in time. Gil’s viewpoint is that great cover songs come from original music so that was his artist objective. From there he has never looked back. He credits all of the countless musicians that have shared their thoughts and experiences with him.
In this solo debut production, Gil recorded and programmed all tracks using a variety of products. Gil considers himself a songwriter with the guitar being the instrument of his choice, it is the concepts behind each song that drive him to write and pursue a growing career as a songwriter with the guitar as the lead voice.
Gil is excited about the promotion of My Introduction and is already looking ahead to his next CD production for 2009.
