Beat, Rhymes, & Life Music Group was started in the year 2007. The CEO is A.L.P.O. (Atlanta’s Lyrical & Production Official), who serves as the producer, songwriter, and engineer. Taking on all of these roles is why he is known as the “OFFICIAL”. The journey of his production skills began in 1997 getting his start on the now infamous program fruity loops. First he began doing beats as a means to have something to rap to, but later on took on the role as a producer. In middle school A.L.P.O. met with friends and they began recording songs together along with producing music together. They continued working on music together but it wasn’t until their high school years when things would pick up. In high school A.L.P.O. would take beats and songs that he made on the bus to get criticism, immediately people could hear the talent. Having people recognize his talent made him step out even further, and he began rapping during school lunches, and having his music played on the morning announcements. High school came to an end and A.L.P.O. enrolled into college in 2003 at Tuskegee University in Alabama. In college his skills at beat making and rapping went to the next level. During college his music was being played on the yard, at basketball games, performing talent shows, and putting out mix tapes to showcase his artists and production skills. In 2006 during college A.L.P.O. put out his first solo project titled “No More Talk”. This cd is what solidified his status as one of the go to producer/artists on campus. Having already producer for a number of independent artists and a couple of majors A.L.P.O. has his sights sets on becoming one of the next super producers in the industry.
