What's up everyone this is AJ, the producer, holdin' in down here in Boston. I've been a composer since I was 10, a musician since I was 8, and a music lover since birth. At a very early age I was introduced to pop music, culminatin' in the boy band era, and that music stuck with me as i progressed to expand my musical knowledge into more genres. In my teens I got deeply involved in the rap/hip-hop genre, such artists as Nas, Big Daddy Kane, Mos Def, Kanye, Notorious, 2pac, and the likes. Heading into college I developed a better knowledge of the softer side of the urban genre, R&B, and viewed it as sort of a hybrid of pop and hip-hop.

My productions are unique, well thought out, and very commercial. Many are instantly recognizable, and all work very well under vocals. I create the instrumentals and mix in Reasion 3.0, combining its libraries with a bank of over 10,000 samples I have recorded myself or obtained from numerous other sources. It is not common for me to tag my beats, I feel I have an original enough sound that people will eventually come to be like, "Yo, that beat was definitely by AJ."

As far as working with artists goes, I am willing and glad to work with any artist who I feel shows great potential to create some hot tracks, no matter what the genre, though I would like to meet or talk to you on the phone first to discuss your goals and the direction you'd like to take your music in. Age makes no difference, talent is all that is required. I cannot record your productions myself, but I will travel to the studio with you and act as a creative consultant during recordings, offering any input I think will make the sound better.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
F*** yeah.
