We're I Call Shotgun... we're about heavy synth, dirty bass and catchy riffs...so call your boyfriend and tell him you won't be home tonight.
Why this name?
It's a game we always play to see who gets to ride in the front seat on outings!
Do you play live?
We play live and we dance the places up! We mainly play around Yorkshire (Leeds, York, Sheffield) but we also play in Manchester and Preston. We love playing live, that's what being in a band is all about. A special moment was the fact that for our first ever 3 gigs we headlined everyone of them!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet and mp3's has made music readily available at the blink of an eye, if you here a song you like on the radio you can be downloading it within minutes of hearing it, unlike when you have to order or buy cd's. The internet has also revolutionised music and band marketing.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes of course, who wouldn't?! If you want to do something you love non stop you need to earn some income as well and being signed is the perfect scenario.
Band History:
We formed in September 2007 and had our first gig on the 22nd of October and we've never looked back since!
