"on the eve of Aral" is an experimental band, bringing a clash of two musical cultures, being 'funeral doom' and 'jazz electro'.
This collision is aiming at unifying utter slowness on the one hand, with chaos on the other.

"on the eve of Aral" also have a concept behind their songs. The general inspiration is drawn from the Industrial Revolution, the chemical, nuclear and atomic world.
Why this name?
'Aral' is taken from the Aral Sea, a place heavily polluted and a place where a big disaster is happening (the lake is slowly disappearing). The complete bandtitle refers to the moment when the whole world will suffer the fate of this lake and will become a toxic soil whereupon no life is able to sustain itself.
