Katalist Productions is a one man team of production. Ive been producing for 9 years now and have alot of beats for sale, so get at me if you need some heat. Hit me up if you want to buy any. Me and Buttafucco got it rocking.. Ive had some offers from a bunch of labels the last while, if your a lable rep holla and see what ya got to offer.
Why this name?
A subtance that increases the rate of a chemical reaction by reducing the activation energy, but which is left unchanged by the reaction. Theres the closest thing, wnated to change how it was spelled to katalist for personal reasons.
Do you play live?
Just produce so not to many live shows, but the beats are straight heat and there are alot of them
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Mp3's have changed the way people do promotion,sales and communications. Its a great thing.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Ive had a few offers over the years for beats so you could say i would if it was the right one, but right now im loving colaborating with a wide variety of people and slanging some also..
Band History:
Ive done tracks with mcs from all around... here is a small list of people ive FINISHED tracks with, or hooked more then one beat to.Peplove from hiero, Imhotep from chicago,EMC (my homie from victoria),Agent Orange from the Wordsmiths,Kannon,Lowdown while me and Solan1 from Planb are working a bunch of new trakcs over soem of my best beats from over the last while. And sold over 12 beats world wide.

Equipment used:
For my beats i use an MPC, a yamaha su100 and my computer to record them.I've Used lots of differnt equipment but thats what im rocking at the moment.
