I never called Nite Rider my band. I learned from my Dad at an early age that music is great if you have musicians better than you in the band. Everyone sang and was featured every set. Wayne Moore did Comedy, Old rock, played fiddle, Franky Howard played Steel sang like Marty Robbins and played fiddle,Edna sang everything from Patsy Cline to Beatles played piano and sang harmony,Richard Martin is the best country drummer in the southwest and sings great.I, well I fronted the group, I played the lead guitar and sang a few songs. Mostly I just stood and enjoyed the great musicians. And the wonderful friends we had that supported the band.
Why this name?
My Dad had a band named Arizona night riders in the 50's, I liked it and stole the Nite Rider part from him in the 70's
Do you play live?
Not as much as I use to, Mostly sit in with friends now and then. I mostly like to record them now. There is so much talent around Albuquerque. So many over 50's that still play and sing great. Playing behind Hank Thompson was a special thing. And George Morgan
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it's absolutley great. We had to travel around the United States to hear all the people we can just click on now.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I think I'm a bit past my chances of signing with anyone. I'm enjoying recording and sharing my music.
Your influences?
Jones,Jennings, Haggard,Williams,Cash.
Favorite spot?
Albuquerque,New Mexico. Music is so diverse here. I love the spanish flavor to all the country rock and jazz music here.

Anything else...?
Oh yes,I have a few other guitars,I like the sound of strat's,G&L's and Godin, and Epiphone. My wife wonders why I have to have so many. I told her thats the only way I can sound like other people. She's so sweet.
