I'm not really trying to catch a big break or anything, I'm just doing this as a hobby and giving it a shot.
Why this name?
I chose the name G Wilikurz back in high school. Everyone called me G which was my first initial automatically but when I was on the basketball team, one of my teammates was nick-named batman and in the batman shows, his sidekick robin would always say "G willikers batman" so he started calling me that and it stuck.
Do you play live?
no not really, this is just a hobby.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It definitely gives people more notoriety and gives people who don't have the connections, the oppurtunity to get their name out in the public eye.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would if it was worth it but in this point in time, I wouldn't see myself doing that.
