Why this name?
Freddie Mercury was awesome. I'm sick of comeback 'kids' and a small stable of mainstream performers dominating the charts. I want to hear new music!
Do you play live?
This started off as a studio project in late 2007 but grew into a live project for 2008-2010. Since then, I've been focusing on my Emma Diva project but am returning to Queen Tantrum in 2012 with a new album due for release in 2013.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Enables unsigned artists to reach a wider audience and not be constrained by the mainstream industry.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Doubtful.
Your influences?
Alice Cooper, Del Amitri, Led Zeppelin, Skunk Anansie, Aerosmith, Whitesnake, Aerosmith, Korn, Tori Amos
Favorite spot?
Berlin and Palma.
