Former "Human Disorder" guitarist fronts this new high energy project. 'InterVenom" combines memorable hooks, throbbing guitars, bustling electronics and ultra sonic vocals, to create an incomparable sound. A quote from author and rock critic, Paul Morley: INTERVENOM - between iggy and Saturn, between rotten and slash, between prodigy and pro active, between skin and voltage, between brain and bash, between lust and thrust, techno-metal, high kick snarl drum bass ultimatum; ear cracking, eye lashing sense tricking, electro-pop at the edge of reason; opening the door between the mind and the outside world.
Why this name?
The name " Intervenom" was presented to us by Paul Morely. The project was origionally called "The Noize merchantz". We thought "Intervenom" was fresh along with our new sound and approach to this whole thing.
Do you play live?
Currently in rehersals for cd release. Tour to follow.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the internet is a great new tool for discovering and launching artists of all kinds.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, if it the people involved shared in our goals and overall vision.
Band History:
TbOnZ spent the better part of the nineties building a heavy metal band called Human Disorder. They put out two albums and spent alot of time touring the US. While home in Canada on a break between tours he met Mark lodge at Blue Summit studios. He was hired to produce a remix of the song "Wrong" by Human Disorder. It sounded great and it was obvious to them they should be working together to combine there talents to produce a new project. INTERVENOM is that project. Written and performed by TbOnZ, produced by Mark Lodge, recorded by Cory McPhadden, and mixed by Pete Hofman. Now with the additions of drummers Jesse and Andy McKay, bass player Keith Gillam and guitar player Mike Butler, Intervenom are preparing to launch there debut cd IV-01
