Southbay California musician with heavy late 70's early 80's influence. Looking for people willing to brave the cool and sometimes ultra-cheesey waters that is New Wave.

Please note that the songs are unfinished. Until I can find a vocalist.
Why this name?
"Signius" has been an online handle of mine since the ancient days of the internet.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's both good and bad.

The Good: It's allowing the artist to control his/her own fate. Self marketing is easy and the potential fanbase is massive. Tools are simple and cheap enough to allow people to do things themselves.

The Bad: File sharing and peoples growing lack of need for the labels have them on edge. Mp3's low audio quality has people getting used to music that isn't sounding at it's best. Technology is evolving to a point to where you won't need any talent to make music. You still have to have an 'ear' to mix loops but, that won't last long.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Only if I were to get a butt load of cash and a contract stating that they would cover all costs of production, distribution, marketing and so forth....and while I am in fantasy land a golden unicorn. So, I guess the short answer is 'no'.
Your influences?
Billy Currie, Gorgio Mororider, Vince Clark, Gary Numan, Klaus Schulze, Louis & Bebe Barron, Juan Atkins, Pretty Tony Butler,Prince, Wendy Carlos, John Carpenter, Anne Clark, Bobby Orlando, Patrick Cowley, Adrian Sherwood, Paul Hardcastle, Jean-Michel Jarre, Maurizio Dami and others
