This is my return to the music industry after a 7-year hiatus due to a long battle with alcohol abuse. In late 2007, I recored 2 self-written & performed albums, "Rough Edges" & "Straight Lines", letting loose the latter on the public with a greater response in volume & nature than expected.

I started in the live music industry at 16 & went as far as one can in Tasmania, then I blinked & was married, a father of 2, divorced & a recovering alcoholic.

After this I played the acoustic circuit, but alcohol become my priority, hence my 7-year hiatus from the industry as I have never so much as thought about doing anything musical whislt drinking.
Why this name?
I couldn't think of anything original enough, so stuck to my own name.
Do you play live?
Haven't performed live in a rock band since the early-mid-90s. Have played just about every acoustic venue in the State. Special moments...touring with "The Party Boys", support gigs for James Reyne, Deborah Conway & support gig for "The Angels" on New Years Eve, '91.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Saves on advertising costs & time. Easier access to more interested parties. There is a potential for the market to overload, I suspect.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I haven't thought that far ahead. I live by the Joe Walsh song, "One Day At A Time" & I haven't been approached today.
Band History:
Probably best to visit my website as it would clog up this area.

Your influences?
The Rolling Stones, Warren Zevon, The Faces, Status Quo, Mick Taylor, Joe Walsh, Keith Richards, Bob Dylan, Ronnie Wood
Favorite spot?
Stanley, Tasmania
Equipment used:
Fender Strat Plus, Ibanez Bass, Gretch Drums, Yamaha Keyboards, Vox Amp, Roland Effects.
Anything else...?
I'm a football (soccer) fanatic. My favourite player was the late George Best; Pele' & Maradonna agree with me on tht. Pele' even fouled him once as he was the only player who could ALWAYS get around him.

Being Scottish, I tend to use the 'F' word a bit, but being a father of 2 & State Registered Nurse, I know when NOT to.
