Deanne, a UK based country artists. Deanne is best known for her diversity, each song sounding different to the previous. Deanne is currently enjoying a vast amount of airplay in the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
Why this name?
The name 'Deanne' comes form my own name 'Denise Anne' It is a name I have used through out my singing career which is coming upto 20 years.
Do you play live?
Yes, I play live 3/4 times per week all over the UK. I mainly perform covers but always slip an original tune in when I can.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I guess for the major artists it's a big deal but for us indies, it has a vast wealth of oppotunity. Just a few years ago, it was enough just trying to get your music heard, now it can be heard around the world.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yes for sure, it is what most artists work for. It's not so much for the money it's more for the chance to perform for large crowds. I guess the money does play a big part of it as it helps to put on these large concerts.
Band History:
I do have history but there is so much of it and my fingers are already hurting from all this typing!!
Your influences?
I love country from all genres but at the moment I am more into whats called new country, although I don't believe it should be called 'New' it has just progressed, as it should.
Favorite spot?
I love my new home. I moved in February 2003 and just love to be here.
Equipment used:
Another long list, to long to mention. I have my own studio where all my recordings are done.
