Ocelot loves to make music and loves to play it for people.
Why this name?
About five years ago, Jordan was trying to find a bandname so that he could submit his first original composition ("Running Backwards") in a competition. He, his family, and his bandmate Mike all tried coming up with names. One day, his brother Dylan and his father were talking about it and Jordan remembered a workbook exercise he did in 2nd grade on which there was a picture of an Ocelot, a creature he had always admired. He mentioned the name spontaneously and his father said, "You know... that might be the one." The name stuck.

YES! We love playing live! We'll play pretty much anywhere and everywhere.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes it easier to get known.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
