RETH - Born in 2000.
Had many a line up change over the years, but now on full steam ahead with the strongest, most perfect clientele for the band.
Based in and around Leeds, with origins in and around various parts of Yorkshire and Lancashire.
We play technical grindcore, with death metal and other extreme metal elements.
Why this name?
It means 'King' in a Western Africa dialect (of the Shilluk region).

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, but only if we were still allowed our musical integrity to continue on in the Reth fashion, which is to get more and more extreme, technical, challenging and interesting, rather than having a watered down sound to suit the market.
