My style is Blues based, but not necessarily Blues, per se…but a blend thereof with whatever else I might deem fitting…My emphasis is on the lyrics…Hell, everyone knows I can’t sing “Purdy”…I try to approach subjects humorously, satirically…I mostly make fun of myself, my relationships…The stories are based on truth, but not necessarily “the truth”…I rarely, if ever, write with serious intent…In fact, it’s best I don’t get serious…for all of us…
