5 Track Mind was formed in October 1998 in Dumont, NJ, USA. The band plays all original songs in a harmonic rock style that sounds like Pink Floyd meets the Eagles.
The band is an international outfit, European and American mix, with members that have been playing together on and off for over 30 years.

Why this name?
It was the first name we all agreed on!! Which was a rare event!!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Completely revolutionized the music distribution process and broken the record company distribution quasi monoploy.. Only good things can come of this.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, if the conditions were right and we retain control (or say) over the material and distribution.

5 Track Mind was formed in October 1998 in Dumont, NJ, USA. We've playing local venues for the past 9 year and we have just released our CD

Our main influences are: Eagles, Pink Floyd, Beatles, Bowie.... and the list goes on!!

Good old planet Earth..

Check out the new 5TM CD. The diverse material ranges from hard driving rock songs to slow, melancholy ballads. Most of the numbers have three-part harmony, which is a rare treat these days!
