Lungbuttur a unique and original idea started by camile houle formed back in 1994 with original members Camile Houle on guitar/vocals jason ravenhorst on drums and jason evans on bass. we started touring all around edmonton playing every bar that would let us in the door.

we joined a tour with a company called music city tv that took us to smaller venues around alberta.

the band fell apart after some equipment theft and loss of interest by members of lungbuttur.

10 years later and 3 kids later camile started the project up again now with an arsenal of 257 songs unheard of by the general public only played for near and dear friends of camile's.

we have made t-shirts and sold them at a few venues and cd's are allways available but you have to order them from us directly.

our mission statement is to give the grunge back to the people and start back something that was needed but lost prematurly.

"life is only a journey if you are willing to travel"

"so let life's currents take you and see where you end up"

Why this name?
Sitting on a couch smoking some willy nelson the name kinda just came to
Do you play live?
my favorite venue is on my couch for my kids, they are my bigest fans.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
makes it a little harder to be noticed.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yeah that is actually the master plan or start my own label and sign myself.
