G PLAYAZ is a hip hop rap duo made up of D-Smoov and ILL B. Representing the South, they are best known for their laid back and high energy style. These two artists bring over 13 combined years of cultivated talent, which makes up one powerful group of seasoned musicians.

D Smoov (Terry Dunlap) and ILL B (Byron Sago) ran with their musical career's representing Disciples of Mayhem founded by RIP (WALTERS PARKS) and The blak Asasn by contacting a well-known local independent record label (Untamed Records) based out of Newport News, VA.

Baby-D (CEO/President) and Silky Cat (Vice President) collaborated with the remaining members of D Smoov’s crew, which consisted of 7-Starr General, Hard Head, LA Slymm and Majestic. These six hot and unique Hip Hop Lyricists make up one creative and intense group called the Low Down Boyz. Each member of the group brings their own taste and flavor to the music scene.
Low Down Boyz, part of the G Playaz has completed recording their fist album, "HOME GROWN" that was released on July 31, 2002. They worked on a music video, "No Worries," which is one of the hot singles on the album.

In 2005 G Playaz was known for their hit new EP "A GAME" working with numerous hot producers like Evil Eyes, BeatsbyMarkus, Max Payne, JBO, XV Productions, Stagga, Young Dru out of St Louis, Big Boy Trackz, 3D, Glish Productions out of Canada, LA Slymm, R.I.P. and many others from mixed Cd's. During this album they also worked with R and B artist Anitia Haynes-Lewis (Hit single Dem Dayz) and Big Tam (Hit single Sunshine).
In 2007 G Playaz released a new Album called GQ (Gangsta Quality) and (Something for the clubs Vol 1) These two albums marked a change in their traditional style through the utilization of artists and producers like Southern Drawl out of Texas and Georgia, and Ruin out of Atlanta. They completed two videos from their hit singles Work it out and Sip and Lean featuring Thesis of Southern Drawl. They currently have 2 EP’s, A Game and Something for the Clubs Vol 1 and also the hot album GQ. They have also made appearances on numerous mixtapes, like Grind Time Vol 2, the Voice Mixtape Vol 1, Thugz and Drugz Vo1, Dirty South Rhythms Vol 1, and a host of others.

G Playaz have performed in numerous clubs and concerts in Virginia, New York, Korea, Germany, Mississippi, Missouri, Atlanta GA, Florida, St Louis, and the BET Sound Stage. They have performed with artists D4L, G Unit and FAM (hot new dance group) in Missouri. They have also performed with Chingy, Crime Mob, and T.I.

The G Playaz brings true showmanship to their live stage performance. They have already proved that they are marketable both nationally and internationally, and will take their hip-hop music career to greater heights.
