I'll be blunt. I'm just a kid from central Wisconsin who grew up in a small town and needed a way to stand out from the crowd. Hip hop has always just came to me. Not just a talent, but who I am. When I make my music; I don't sit down to write lyrics. I sit down to let the lyrics write themselves. It's how I've always felt and always will. This is who I am. Salvation aka Mr. K Dot Sparks. That's who you know me as. That's who you're hearing about. That's who you'll always remember.
Do you play live?
I have, plenty of times. I plan on starting again soon. I'm not bullshitting like most artists on soundclick who say they rock 50,000 crowds every weekend and make alot of money but beg for free beats and collabs.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

Your influences?
The Beatles, first and foremost. Any oldies, actually. Surprisingly, I'm not a huge fan of hip hop. It's one of the last things you'll hear me listening to. Rage Against The Machine is a band I listen to often aswell. I don't like listening to alot of hip hop. Mainly because I don't want to hear something I like and inadvertently copy their style. I'm coining my own terms when I do my thing. I want to keep it that way.
Favorite spot?
Honestly, with a beer in my hand and surrounded by friends and I'm good. But, if you must; I'd say Chicago. Hands down.
