Baby Sis was born and raised in Long Beach, Ca. She started as a self taught DJ on the two turntables and evolved into a rapper who writes her own lyrics and can produce some hot beats as well. Even though she now lives in Lake Elsinore, Ca. she hasn't forgotten where she came from, and it shows in her music. It's obvious that Baby Sis is sexy, but don't let those good looks fool ya' fellas, this lil mama can flow with the big boys with that in yo' face attitude!
After you listen to the tracks, go head and hit up the message board and let a sista know what ya' think.....GOOD or BAD, I can take it.....and if I haven't already checked out ya' site, I'll make sure to return the favor!

Why this name?
I am the 6th of seven brothers and sisters, and the youngest girl in the family, which makes me the "Baby Sis".
Do you play live?
I have performed live at a number of functions for payment and/or merchandise as well as for free because I like to see people party and have a good time.......That's Love!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has given people all across the world acess to music that they would have probably never gotten a chance to here before. It also gives unsigned artist the opportunity to gain the exposure needed to help open doors that can further their careers.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I make music because music is what I am, what I feel and what I think 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with or without a record deal. If I'm approached by someone who appreciates what I do and wants to work with me, then of course I would love to sign a record contract with a major label......but until then, I'll continue to do it for the love!

Your influences?
My musical influences would be Salt N' Pepa, MC Lyte and Queen Latifah because they opened the doors for female rappers, and then Missy Elliot, Eve and Lil Kim for continuing to gain respect for all the sista's in the business today. I also respect James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Tupac, Jay-z, Lauren Hill & The Fugees, Aaliyah, Dr. Dre, The Isley Brothers and so on....for making music that has been a part of my life in so many ways.....THANK YOU!
Favorite spot?
My favorite city is Long Beach where I grew up. It's also where me and my family gather at my parents home to hang out, eat, listen to music and have fun. My favorite spot on earth is the recording studio. There I can express my likes, dislikes, feel good and stressed, and work and have fun all at the same time.
Equipment used:
Right now, my home studio consists of two turntables, a mixer, a beat machine and a four track recorder. It's all very basic right now, but I'm working on upgrading to tha' good s**t, then it'll be like whoa!
Anything else...?
Even though I produce my own tracks, I'm always interested in working with other producers and collaborating with other artists....so if ya' like the flows then holla at a Sista.
