I was in the band X-Calibur from central PA before we split up and I started doing some recordings on my own. Some of these songs are from my old band and some are new songs. Working on some new tunes to add, so keep checking back. Influences from Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Neil Young, Tantric + many more. Although I have influences from many different bands, not all my music sounds like one or the other. Each of my influences shaped my taste in music, therefore they each may or may not have a direct impact on each and every song. I hope you enjoy listening.
Do you play live?
Not at the moment
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well I think the internet and mp3 are great tools for independent artists looking for exposure. The hardest thing as it always has been is sticking out from the crowd and getting noticed. Sometimes that's all it takes. As for Napster, I think the only artists who care are the middle-ground. When you're a small name, you want the exposure. When you're a big name, you don't care as much either I would suspect, but Metallica kind of spoils my point there. haha
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends on the terms, but more than likely if I could get my music out to people.
Your influences?
Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Neil Young, Tantric, Rob Halford, Gun's 'N Roses
Equipment used:
Jackson Performer PS2 Guitars, Peavey 5150 II Amplification
Anything else...?
I recorded all these tracks at home on a Boss BR-8. Please keep in mind that they are demos and I realize that they aren't perfect by any means, they are just a way to get my ideas consolidated onto one track. Feel free to message me and give me your constructive criticism. Not only does it help me, but I welcome other people's ideas, but please keep it limited to the song's themselves and not the quality or mixing of the tracks.
