Othelio are a very unique Dance Electronica act with Euro feels and club vibes and fronted by 'Saffire' this diva is one hot cookie with a great vocal technique and songwriter combined along with 'Zedd' they are a great team where popular dance m,usic is concerned!
they also do all their own production and arrangement
and are getting noticed worldwide as you read this!
Band's Song Appears on Australian Radio & Hit Top Of Clubbing Charts Twice!
Since Othelio made Saffire into main vocalist they have been continuosly airplayed on australian radio thanks to their mate sean their songs 'Disco Queen','I Can See The Light' & 'I Have The Voice' have become requested faves!
Othelio also hit number1 in the clubbing charts beating some bigger names
proving them to be up their with the best, whats that saying to be the best you gotta beat the best and they did by after a 3 week riegn 1 month later returning to the top with the floor filling dance club song 'Disco Queen'

yes when the need arrives we play live..wherever & whenever the need arises and its worth it then othelio shall entertain!! special moments are its live!! no mimin' ere folks!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Othelio have always believed in the way of the future and giving music fans the chance to download a fave song by fave artist, means cutting out record shops, you dont get the cover etc, but soon you will be able to do the whole thing, even be the label, pearl jam are doing it why shouldnt everyone else, after all its the real artists that are one step ahead!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yes we would purely consider it, but look at what the contract offers and what advances the label shall offer to us!! emi are currently keeping an eye on us at the moment!! who knows!!

Othelio brought to life by singer songwriter couple 'Zedd & Saffire' several years
ago 'Othelio' are from Edinburgh, Scotland, UK & have struggled throughout thethe years to get noticed
after making a new style of Dance pop crossover Music they Rubbed shoulders with several past Celebs and were told to keep moving in different countries
they took on a 3rd member on synth and percussion and worked hard on new material and devised several plans on the music industry
now as a duet they are pushing bounderies worldwide
they have a good interest from 'Peer Music' regarding publishing,but looking for other offers
all the album tracks etc are finally being mastered in studio in uk
Othelio are seeking all promotional avenues for the world
then you will know what will be the 'Koladge Effect'
