I play wherever they'll have me. I get so nervous beforehand that it's ridiculous, but after the first few chords of the first song it always melts away. I love it.

Honestly, I think the music industry had it coming. If it's losing money, I believe that it's its own fault. They have overcharged for music since the beginning of time and now that people have found a way to get back at them, they're pissed. Music is a purity. People get into music because they love it, I don't know what happens to them to make them so damn greedy *coughMetallicacough*. If people are downloading your music, they're downloading your music. And they'll always find a way to beat the system. The more people that download the music, the more people get to hear it and that's all I would be able to ask for. That and if and when I roll through their towns if they'd come out and maybe buy a t-shirt so that I could eat that night.

Honestly, I don't think I would. One reason is what I stated above... I don't need to sell my soul, thanks. The other reason is that once this becomes a job, the fun will wear off very quickly (I'd bet you any amount of money) because then I'd have a label and who knows who else breathing down my neck. If I'm doing this, I'm doing it for me, not for money.

Seven Story Reason began in my dorm room. Freshman year of college. I gained and lost a singer in my third semester. We recorded the choppy yet charming "Dorm Room Demos 2007." I recorded "Kristin's Winter Demos 2007-2008" in December. And I recorded "Personal Revolution," an EP, in March-April. All that was recorded/mixed in GarageBand on my MacBook. In the summer of 2008, I began writing "Letters I'll Never Send," an album that I'm actually still working on. I ran into a roadblock in my head and with my playing and just...stopped. Between August 2008 and March 2009 I haven't done anything with SSR, however, yesterday, I went into the studio and recorded a song. Finally, I'm writing again. I'm in the studio recording "Letters I'll Never Send." I don't have a date for release yet, but I'm thinking by the end of May. However...I am doing all of the recording, mixing, etc etc by myself. I'll keep you updated!

Favorite Spot: The roof of the music building at my college. It's so peaceful, it's a great place to go write.
Favorite City: Definitely New York City. What do you expect? I grew up an hour from the city, of course I'm going to love it there. There's always something going on in good ol' NYC.
