I am a solo artist, playing folk and ballad in an kinda irish style.
I work late night coffe bars and play back ground music in up market restaurants.

Why this name?
Jamir is a nick name I was given by a friend of mine. It means "beautiful soul"
Do you play live?
The best memory that I have of playing live, is when I asked for requests ( usually "covers" are requested ) and I was asked to play one of my own songs and the whole audience was singing along. A really magic experience
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I am all for MP3's

Your influences?
I love ballads, and like I said earlier, I was influenced by Joan Baez and Carol king, but there are so many good singers and writers out there, there is not enough room to fit them all in here.
