His song, Guitar Blues, became a hit as the result of a radio DJ playing it over and over as part of his aversion therapy to Moonshine whiskey. Dwayne was a star by accident and a DJ's withdrawal symptoms. He was forever grateful to that DJ of Country Radio At Peace or C.R.A.P. After his first success, Dwayne left the prairies to follow his dreams. In doing so he created our nightmares.
Why this name?
Later, Liddel-Pieter, was changed in honour of his father's encouragement when he first sang. 'Choke him', he said. Dwayne heard that as Crokum and thought it was Russian for wonderful.
