Bobby Cage
NEWS
Hey everybody! Been a very busy summer. Katy & I have a new addition to our acoustic duo, Tyler Gilda on percussion! So much fun gigging with these two! In addition to the "trio" I have also been performing with some musical friends that I have been longing to perform with for years. Basically rock covers but we have a lot of room to grow and some pretty good writers in the group so ....who knows? The band is called MISFIT TOYZ! Check out our Facebook page!

With the release of his first solo album
"Coming Home To You" in early 2001, Bobby Cage has been becoming a main staple not just on independent country radio, but pop, rock and bluegrass stations as well the world over.
Once you listen to his music, you'll realize that his original flair is very entertaining and addictive. He is not one to shy away from a untraveled road. His long awaited second original effort, "Wrong Side Of Love", is now available worldwide at www.cdbaby.com or at www.mperia.com

Why this name?
Bobby, everybody has been calling me this since I was about 4, running around in my cowboy boots serenading the girls with Beatle songs.
Not much has changed!
Cage, family name.

Do you play live?
Along with playing local venues around the St.Louis area, Bobby performed at his first Fan Fair in 2003 and was extremely excited and honored to perform at showcases at such Nashville spots such as, Hall Of Fame Louge on music row, Douglas Corner, Nashville Palace and was also a featured writer at the first annual Loretta Lynn Songwriters festival in 2003 and performed at the 2005 St Charles County fair. I am now currently performing with Katy Fry & Tyler Gilda & rock band MISFIT TOYZ in venues in and around Missouri.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows the independent writer and performer a chance to be heard around the world. It will soon be the industry standard to download complete albums, single songs or complete works from any major or indie artist in the comfort of your own home rather than trudging out to the record store.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, my second album "Wrong Side Of Love" has stirred up considerable radio airtime & label interest but as of yet I still remain a "proud Independent" and look forward to starting on my next project and produce some others.
