Fabonacci mix relaxed and emotive piano songs with sparse, powerfully produced electro drums and cascading guitars.

Our first EP, released in February 2007, has drawn comparison to The Doves, Elbow, Yo La Tengo and Radiohead.

The 2nd EP from alter in 2007 leans more towards grungier, dirtier guitars and Zooropa/Pop era U2 soundscapes.

A 3rd record is now well underway, and the band are playing live around the UK.
Why this name?
I believe it's the name of a french mathematician or mathematical sequence-our singer is the man to ask..
Do you play live?
Looking to play once a month giving us time to promote each gig, we will play anywhere house parties, on the street etc
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Everyone has a shop window but no one is looking..you truly do have to get of yer backside if you want to be noticed.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Only if they offered a ridiculous advance we did'nt have a hope of repaying.
