ALL MY SONGS ARE SIMPLE DEMOS RECORDED AT HOME WITH VERY LIMITED EQUIPMENT....all are always works in progress.
Played in many bands during the 70's into the early 80's. Played rock under a lot of disco balls after disco died ....been recording at home ever since. Writing songs since Junior High School.
Why this name?
I'm JT and I am married with two kids...therefore I call myself JTees4.
Do you play live?
Not in a gigging band since the early 80's.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's great for home "musicians" like myself.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'd love to be asked, but the answer would be NO.
Band History:
Was in a Band called "MAD" in the late 70's, also Leslie James Band, Avalanche, Earth and a few that never got around to names. Played at Copperfields (formerly Bon Soir) on West 8th Street in the Village NYC, The Rendezvous and The Edge in The Bronx. Played with Carl, John G., Alan, Walter, John W., Matt K., Bobby B., Louie (RIP) and Jeff from the Jefftones! and some others along the way too!. Miss the old days for sure.
Your influences?
All over the map, and sometimes not even on the map! Beatles, Mountain, Zep, The Guess Who, Focus, some Country, some of everything really. Very eclectic taste in music.
Favorite spot?
With my kids. Wherever that may be at the moment.
Equipment used:
Owned em all, sold most.
Anything else...?
I have no illusions...I know my talent is limited, but I think I have made the most of it. Will keep doing this as long as my health continues to co-operate. Thanks to all who give my music a listen, and a special thanks to Dr. Alan Hartman for giving me 9 additional years of living (so far).
