I am a singer/songwriter with my own acoustic blend of 'Folktry'
( country/folk ) music. My songs reflect my life experiences and encounters, and I take great delight in avoiding the usual 'big production' and special effects when performing my songs.

Why this name?
My name is unique and sts me apart from the norm, so its perfect for what I do .
Do you play live?
Yep, I have regular gigs at various local pubs , plus I play the markets if and when I get the chance. In fact, it's a pretty safe bet that wherever there's an opportunity to get up and sing , I'll try to be there!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
In a HUGE way! I have to have faith in the system because there's plenty as can go wrong, but I think it gives the Indie artist and the singer/songwriter much more opportunity to be heard, especially as travel costs etc can be so enormous!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends. I suppose it comes down to what's on offer and whether there's too much compromise at the expense of the art... but I won't say never.
Your influences?
Don McLean, Gordon Lightfoot, Joan Baez, Kasey Chambers, Graeme Connors, Brendon Walmsley, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Donovan, Sheryl Crowe, Missy Higgins, ..... just about anyone who can write a great story and make an impact on me!
Favorite spot?
favourite spot? - anywhere cold and without crowds, especially if it's Autumn and all the leaves are changing colour.
Equipment used:
Martinez guitars,one in standard tuning and one I change to D or C tunings as reqd; a homemade stomp box, tambourine and harmonica , basic EMXsound system plus microphones for gigs.
