Band History:
Waiting in Vain, a simple phrase, an incredible notion. To think that four teenagers could come together and form a force matched only by the predecessors or rock and roll. Not merely a thought, but also a reality. The purpose of Waiting in Vain is not to prove that they are better. In fact, the goal of members is to put a whole generation's worth of music on trial, and ask where has it gone.
The three teens formed in early January 2002. Bringing pride to both North Attleboro ,Mass, and Wrentham, Mass, the band members brought their diverse music styles together in order to create their own original sound. With influences ranging from Red Hot Chili Peppers and Matchbox Romance to Sublime and George Clinton, the music style has a hard edge complimented by a soothing rhythm. With each member having prior bands, they were able to get off the ground rather quickly. After a few member changes Waiting in Vain is now comprised of: Andy Cerrone, Chris Pflum, James Rutter, and CJ Noll.
Soon, the band plans to hit the studio to record their debut EP Can't Turn Back. Stay on the look out for Waiting in Vain.....
