We are just a bunch of people that make music in our free time. We use a lot of our own beats and of course instrumentals from famous rappers and hip-hop artists. We are all from around the West Coast, from Portland to the Bay Area to Los Angeles. Our music is a wide range of rap from Hip-Hop to Hyphy to Gangsta Rap. We are called the Fourth Floor Hustlaz and our producer is called The Snake.
Why this name?
We all stay on the Fourth Floor Apartments, so one day we just came up with the Fourth Floor Hustlaz and stuck with it every since.
Do you play live?
Some of our songs were played at a club in Oregon and everyone looked like they enjoyed the music.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Because people can listen to the music on the internet without the radio. And the music can still be popular through the internet without it being on the radio. Plus the music industry can use the internet to promote their music even more than the radio and television.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
