Music. Arts. Revolution. Success.
Why this name?
Well, my nickname, Joker, was given to me by a few of my homeboys. They always saw me as the Joker, or Jester of the group. The nickname just stuck around. Also the name also incorporates the sound or style of my beats. YOu never know what i'm going to kick out.
Do you play live?
Well the idea is to walk down the street one day and hear one of my beats banging in someone's trunk with someone rapping to it, and people Jamming to it. Yeah. Very Soon.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
As if the industry hasn't changed already. Mp3 Just made it easier for Music to get to the people. Now people don't HAVE to go to a club or CD store just to hear music, or listen to the radio and television. They can get access to your music through the internet. Big ups to the Person(s) that developed this idea.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No, but what they have done, is inspired me to do my own thing.
Since 2004, The Joke ENT has been producing Hip Hop, R&B, Urban beats. Formally called So Cold Studios, they have been on the rise through internet charts and gaining major fan base not only in the U.S but in UK, Australia and other areas. After being MIA for 2 years after 2006, The Joke Ent is back with a fresh new sound and brand new look.
Anything and everything. Music is life.
